Who is this course for?

This course is designed for workplaces who have an AED available and wish to teach the skills required to use an AED.

This course also includes CPR.

Course content


  • Assess the situation in an emergency


  • Administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious (including seizure)


  • Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation


  • Administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded and bleeding


  • Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock


  • Heart attacks


  • AED and operation

The delegate on the course will receive

  • Handout card


  • Certification upon successful completion of the course
