I trained as a nurse in the RAF just over 20 years ago. After gaining my qualifications I was posted to Germany and served during the Gulf War in a field hospital undertaking trauma nursing. I left the RAF and followed a career in sports fitness for 7 years, before retraining within the emergency services. I currently train firefighters in breathing apparatus at one of the training establishments within Essex. Along with my nursing qualifications, I also have teaching qualifications and I am a qualified behaviour instructor.
I have been teaching first aid since 2001 and joined the great team at Pronto in 2011.
