l joined the Essex Fire & Rescue Service aged 18 and retired exactly 37 years later to the day in March 2015. Following a mainly Operational career path, I also served as the Service Fire Prevention Instructor and Press Officer. l served the last 15 years of my career as the Station Commander. I joined the Pronto Team in 2018 and I am enjoying using my knowledge to teach to a range of clients.
